Historical relic of Bong Lai communal house
(BNP) - Bong Lai communal house, Lai Ha commune, Luong Tai district was built a long time ago, and was restored on a large scale in the 18th and 19th centuries.

The ancient Bong Lai communal house had a large scale, with an architecture of Chinese “Dinh” letter, an ironwood frame, and it was exquisitely carved decorations. In addition, a series of other sacrificial items that are carved, painted and gilded with splendor and majesty.

Through time and war, the communal house was destroyed and damaged, only the Emperor’s Harem remained. In 1993, local people built 3 more small Front Hall. In 2009, local people renovated the communal house, built walls, paved the yard, and built the Nghi Mon gate.

The communal house has an architecture of Chinese “Dinh” letter consisting of Front Ceremonial Hall and Emperor’s Harem, facing south. The Front Ceremonial Hall has 03 compartments, 02 lean-stones, 04 curved roofs, and dragons looking at the moon. Its frame is made of strong ironwood.
