Minister of Public Security To Lam visits and extends Tet wishes to Bac Ninh province

Minister To Lam presents gifts and extended Tet wishes to Bac Ninh province Party Committee, Government and People.

Joining the delegation were Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Mr. Le Tien Chau, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Vice Chairman and General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Major General Nguyen Van Long, Deputy Minister of Public Security.

Receiving and working with the delegation were Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Anh Tuan quickly reported on the province's socio-economic development in 2022, directions and tasks in 2023. Especially, GRDP increased by 7.39% compared to 2021, the highest increase in the period of 2019 - 2022. GRDP scale ranked 4th in the Red River Delta, 9th in the country. Export turnover increased by 4.5%, continuing to maintain the second position in the country. State budget revenue reached nearly VND 31,000 billion. Administrative reform, digital transformation and implementation of key projects have been promoted. The fields of culture - society, education continue to be interested. The regimes on social security and social welfare for the people are fully implemented according to regulations. The poverty rate decreased to 0.94%. National defense, political security and social order and safety are maintained.

Secretary Tuan thanked for the affection, attention, support of the leaders of the Party, the State, central agencies in general, and the Minister of Public Security in particular, thereby, helping Bac Ninh make remarkable socio-economic development steps. On the occasion of preparing to welcome the Lunar New Year 2023, the Secretary sent New Year greetings to General To Lam and the participants in the delegation and the police force.

General To Lam highly appreciated the outstanding achievements in all fields of Bac Ninh province in the past time.

On the eve of the new year, General To Lam sent New Year wishes to the Party Committee, Government, People and armed forces of Bac Ninh province to welcome a happy new year with many new successes. He hoped that Bac Ninh will continue to promote its achievements, unite, and successfully implement the set goals and tasks in 2023.
