More than 200 youths participate in volunteer activities in Nguyet Duc commune
(BNP) - In response to the 2018 Youth Volunteer Campaign Summer, from August 8th to August 11th, the Provincial Youth Union organized a volunteer program for youth union members in Nguyet Duc Commune, Thuan Thanh District.
Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Dao Hong Lan presents gifts to motivate youth members participating in the program.
At the Campaign, more than 200 youth union members from Youth Union of units (including Bac Ninh Teacher Training College, Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports, Provincial Public Security, , Bac Ninh College of Electro mechanics and Construction, Provincial Youth Union and Youth Union of Nguyet Duc Commune) participated in cleaning environment, dredging and cleaning up 3.5km canals of Dao Vien - Ngoc Noi hamlet; building about 2 km of roads in the lanes in Nguyet Duc commune; building Children's playground at Nguyet Duc Kindergarten (base 2).
Besides, the Campaign would propagandize legal education, knowledge and skills for fire prevention and fighting and rescue for business households and local people as well as organize summer activities for children; participate in cultural exchanges, performance arts and sports competitions with volunteers in the commune.
Directly taking part in the volunteer activities, Mrs. Dao Hong Lan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee praised volunteer spirit for community life of youth union members in the province.
