Nearly VND 157 billion supported youth union members starting up businesses

(BNP) - Implementing the program "Accompanying with youth union members starting up businesses", up to now, the Youth Union at all levels in the province has helped thousands of youth union members to borrow capital for economic development with a total of VND 156.795 billion.

In particular, the capital of the National Fund to support jobs for the province's youth union member was VND 3,795 billion; the capital to support youth union member starting up business from the province was VND 40 billion; the total loan balance was managed by the Youth Union of VND 113 billion.

The Union at all levels also regularly introduced jobs for 390,623 students, demobilized soldiers; counseled career for 8,531 youth union members and workers; organized vocational training for 1,595 rural youth.

Besides, the Unions also organized training courses on agricultural production techniques, transferring science and technology to rural youth union members; opened training and vocational classes in cultivation and livestock ... thereby helping them access to new economic development policies, support knowledge to develop economy and apply science and technology into livestock, establish new models of cooperatives…
