Nearly VND 2,000 billion invested in building Chi Bridge

(BNP) - The provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 1795/QD-UBND on approving the investment project to build Chi Bridge to connect traffic between Que Vo and Gia Binh districts with a total budget of nearly VND 1,892.4 billion.

The project has a total length of more than 4.1 km, among which, the bridge section is longer than 2.1 km; the first point is at Km0 + 00 (KM11 + 585 ĐT 279) in the region of Vu Duong hamlet, Bong Lai commune, Que Vo district; the end point is at Lap Ai - Huu Ai dike, Song Giang commune, Gia Binh district. The bridge is designed in the form of a cable-stayed cable tower with a flat surface, a pen symbol and drainage, lighting, traffic safety, etc.

The construction of Chi Bridge connects traffic between Que Vo district and Gia Binh district with an aim to creating favorable conditions for people to travel, contributing to the development of economy, culture and society as well as improving the quality of local people’s life.
