President of Republic of Kazakhstan visits businesses in Bac Ninh

Welcoming the delegation were Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; Ms. Nguyen Huong Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of a number of related departments and agencies.

In his welcome speech, Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan emphasized that the President's visit took place in the context of the good development of relations between Vietnam and Kazakhstan after more than 30 years of establishing diplomatic relations. There are several potential for the two countries to take their traditional friendship and bilateral cooperation to new heights.

The Secretary Tuan presented quick information on the province socio-economic development over the past time. With the advantage of geographical location and capacity to link regions, convenient areas, quality human resources, and well implemented policies for investment attraction, Bac Ninh is regarded as a safe, attractive, and friendly investment destination by investors and enterprises. In particular, thanks to the convergence of multinational corporations in industrial parks,  Bac Ninh has risen to the top of the list of leading provinces and cities in terms of FDI attraction.

Currently, no Kazakh businesses are investing in Bac Ninh province. Therefore, he hoped that the President's visit would serve as an important milestone in the cooperation connection between Bac Ninh province and Kazakhstan's partners and investors. Bac Ninh province always welcomes Kazakh businesses to research and invest in priority sectors and fields such as high-tech industry, supporting industries, environment and energy saving, logistics services and so on, he added.

For his part, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev highly appreciated the potential and socio-economic development of the province. At the same time, he affirmed that he will create conditions to facilitate the connectivity of Kazakhstan's localities with Bac Ninh province in the near future.

On this occasion, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and a high-ranking delegation of the Republic of Kazakhstan visited Goertek Vina Company (Expanded Que Vo Industrial Park) and Hyosung Financial System Vina Co., Ltd. (Yen Phong II-C Industrial Park).
