According to Chairwoman Nguyen Huong Giang, Bac Ninh province has exceeded 7/28 main goals set out by the 20th Provincial Party Congress; 19 goals remain unfulfilled; the average economic growth rate of GRDP in the period of 2020 - 2022 will reach 6.71% (the congress's target is 7 - 8%); the scale of the economy in 2022 will reach VND 248,376 billion, ranking 9th in the country; industrial production value ranked first; GRDP per capita ranks 3rd in the country...

Culture and society, health, education and training, and social security have all received attention, people's living standards have improved, the poverty rate has decreased to 0.94% (down 0.1% compared to 2020). Security and national defense are maintained. The work of building the Party and the political system continued to receive attention in the direction of capacity building…

In addition, the province has completed and approved by the Prime Minister the adjustment of the Bac Ninh urban master plan to 2045; Thuan Thanh town and Que Vo town are established; Yen Phong district is recognized as meeting the criteria of a grade 4 urban area; the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) ranked 7th in the country…

Bac Ninh province proposed to the Government and Prime Minister to soon issue a Decree soon to encourage and protect dynamic, creative, dare to think, dare to do, dare to make breakthroughs for the common benefit; have solutions to overcome difficulties and obstacles to implement investment support and incentives for Samsung Electronics Vietnam Company as well as pay attention and support to invest in the construction project of DT.285B road connecting Que Vo Industrial Park 1,2 and Gia Binh Industrial Park; direct the completion of the dossier to submit to UNESCO to recognize the profession of making Dong Ho folk paintings as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity in need of urgent protection...

Concluding the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh praised and recognized the achievements of the Party Committee, government and people of Bac Ninh province in all fields after half a term of implementing the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, with many outstanding and comprehensive socio-economic development targets, contributing positively to the overall development of the country.

In the coming time, the Prime Minister urged that Bac Ninh province continue to creatively applying the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Government's Resolutions, and the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress to select fields with potentials, strengths and comparative advantages, especially prioritizing the development of high-tech industry, circular economy, green growth, and digital transformation in order to develop a fast and sustainable economy. …
