Provincial leaders offer incense at Martyrs Memorial

(BNP) - On the occasion of 70th anniversary of Vietnam’s War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27th, 1947 - 2017), a Delegation of the Provincial Party Committee (PPC), Provincial People’s Council, Provincial People’s Committee and Provincial Fatherland Front led by Mr. Nguyen Nhan Chien, Secretary of PPC, Head of Province’s National Assembly Delegation offered incense to commemorate martyrs at Bac Ninh Provincial Martyrs Memorial.

Joining the Delegation were Permanent Deputy Secretary of PPC Nguyen Huu Quat; Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Tu Quynh; Deputy Secretary of PPC Nguyen Thi Ha; Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council Nguyen Huong Giang; Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Ha Sy Tiep; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; Permanent Provincial People’s Council, Provincial People’s Committee, Provincial Fatherland Front and Province’s National Assembly Delegation; leaders of departments, branches, sectors, mass organizations and Bac Ninh city.

In a solemn atmosphere, the Delegation burnt incense with deeply respect and gratitude to commemorate Heroes and Martyrs. This is a practically annual activity to promote tradition and morality "when drinking water, remember its source", "when eating fruit, remember who planted the tree”, which deeply expressed gratitude of Party Committees, authorities and people of Bac Ninh province to great contribution of Heroes and Martyrs, outstanding children of Bac Ninh – Kinh Bac homeland who sacrificed their youth and blood for independence and freedom of nation. It is also an opportunity to educate young generation about patriotism and will in the cause of building and defending the country.
 
To deserve the sacrifices of Heroes and Martyrs and to promote evolutional tradition, Bac Ninh Party Committees, authorities and people vow to unite and successfully implement assigned socio-economic development tasks as well as determine to build Bac Ninh province more and prosperous and civilized.
