(BNP) - In first 9 months, the health sector of the province has examined and treated 1,437.1 thousand people, up 1.5% over the same period in 2017; of which 171.2 thousand are inpatients, increasing by 9.2% over the same period.

Patients are being treated at the Provincial Hospital of Pediatrics.

Recently, the health sector continues to take the initiative in receiving and applying modern medical technologies to medical examination and treatment. So far, the records of monitoring and managing the health of the population at the health stations have been completed to provide more effective initial health care. At the same time, blood collection and testing for children, who are under 6 years old, will be conducted at preschools after the new school year to update the family health records.

Food safety and hygiene control is carried out by the Provincial Food Safety Board in coordination with functional agencies to regularly and strictly inspect and supervise catering establishments, and enterprises where have a large number of employees and self-deployed kitchen.
