Tu Son City organizes propaganda about sea and islands in 2024

Overview of the conference.

Participants at the conference were Colonel Ngo Van Thanh, Party Committee Secretary, Political Commissar of the Naval Technical Department; Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Tu Son City People's Council Ngo Minh Nam; representatives from departments, branches, sectors, mass organizations, wards, and education management officials in the city.

In recent years, Tu Son City has diversified its propaganda content and forms, raising awareness of preserving sea and island sovereignty in the new situation for cadres, party members, and people; promoting propaganda work on the situation of sea and islands, the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's legal policies on protecting sea and island sovereignty on the radio and television system, visual propaganda, social networking sites, through specialized conferences, research competitions... Every year, the City Party Committee coordinates with Factory X28 to organize a conference on propaganda about the sea and islands for leaders and cadres of departments, branches, sectors, unions, wards, and schools in the city.

At the Conference, Colonel Nguyen Xuan Sang, Party Secretary, Political Commissar of Factory X28, Naval Engineering Department presented and discussed the topic: "Recent situation in the East Sea and results of protecting sea and island sovereignty in the first 6 months of 2024, directions and tasks in the coming time" to the delegates. At the same time, they also watched the documentary "Building a regular and modern Vietnam People's Navy".

Also at the conference, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Tu Son City presented meaningful gifts to soldiers on duty to protect the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
