Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phong attends the opening ceremony of the public administrative quarter of Luong Tai district

(BNP) – On October 5th, Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee attended and cut the opening ribbon for launching the Public Administrative Center of Luong Tai district. Attending the ceremony were also the leaders of some departments, Luong Tai district, communes and towns in the district.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, stressed that the province has currently set up 08 District Public Administration Centers, among them, Luong Tai district’s center is the third one officially opened and come into operation after Bac Ninh city and Tu Son town. It clearly shows the determination of the district in accelerating the reform of administrative procedures.

Luong Tai District People's Committee was asked to implement in accordance with Resolution No.67 of the Provincial People's Council on stipulating the support policies for public servants and employees working at the provincial and district administrative centers in Bac Ninh. In addition, the district needs to continue paying attention to facilities to make the Public Administrative Center more professional, effective.

Regarding to the District Administrative Center, the Vice Chairman requests the Center to implement well its functions and tasks, to ensure transparency, to simplify administrative procedures, particularly, to raise the awareness and responsibility in the performance of duties, professional ethics, communication skills and behaviors for the public servants and employees in order to create the friendliness towards enterprises and people.

The Vice Chairman also asked the leaders of the Provincial Public Administration Center to continue paying attention and having professional training on situations of receiving, guiding, urging and returning dossiers to the public servants and employees working in the District Public Administration Center, thereby minimizing the time and costs of people and businesses.

Implementing Decision No.302/QD-UBND dated June 22nd, 2017 of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on piloting the establishment of the Luong Tai District Public Administrative Center, People Committee of the District has actively prepared on facilities, equipment, organizational structure and put into trial operation after more than 03 months of implementation.

The Center consists of 12 counters with 12 staffs being in charge of receiving dossiers, resolving and answering the results of over 200 administrative procedures in 14 areas under their jurisdiction. It has received 444 dossiers, of which 181 have been settled since September 20th 2017.
