Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan visits and inspects epidemic control in Bac Ninh

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dao Hong Lan thanked for the attention, encouragement, sharing and assistance of the leaders of the Party, State, Ministries, central branches and localities, businesses and benefactors as well as the direction of the Prime Minister and the National Steering Committee for the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic in the province over the past time. At the same time, she quickly informed Bac Ninh’s epidemic control to the Vice President.

In the coming time, Lan expressed her hope to receive the attention and companionship of the Party and State leaders, the support of the branches and localities to help Bac Ninh province to repel the epidemic, ensure the people's health, and stabilize production development.

For her part, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan acknowledged and lauded Bac Ninh province’s efforts to combat the epidemic and successfully organize the recent elections of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all level for the 2021-2026 tenure.

She recommended them to press ahead with pandemic prevention and control as well as sustaining socio-economic development.

On the occasion, the Vice President presented 3.5 billion VND (151,466 USD) to Bac Ninh province in support of their fights against the pandemic.
