27th National Traditional Wrestling Championship takes place in Gia Binh district
(BNP) - The 27th National Traditional Wrestling Championship in 2023 will be held from April 25 to May 3 in Cao Duc commune, Gia Binh district.
Athletes compete in Wrestling at the Provincial Multi-Purpose Gymnasium.
The tournament attracted the participation of 140 athletes from 15 teams from provinces, cities and industries including: Hanoi, Tuyen Quang, Phu Tho, Ninh Binh, Bac Giang, Lam Dong, Bac Ninh, Cong An, Ha Nam, Thua Thien Hue, Vinh Phuc, Nghe An, Thai Nguyen, Hai Phong and the Army. Athletes competed in 18 events.
This is a practical activity to celebrate the 48th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2023) and International Labor Day on May 1; celebrate the 2300th birthday of General Cao Lo Vuong; encourage and promote the movement to practice ethnic wrestling for young people inside and outside Gia Binh district.
