Agree on investment policy to build a road connecting Gia Binh airport (Bac Ninh province) with capital Hanoi

The width of the road connecting Gia Binh airport with Hanoi city is about 100 - 120m.

The Hanoi People's Committee basically agreed on the plan of the connecting route from Gia Binh airport to the center of Hanoi (the section within Hanoi city) - option 1 according to the report and proposal of the Department of Planning and Architecture.

Accordingly, the construction plan for a new elevated route north of the Hanoi - Lao Cai railway connecting to the intersection between the Hanoi - Lang Son expressway and Ring Road 3, the route overlaps Ring Road 3 and connects to the Tu Lien bridge approach road to the center of Hanoi Capital. The length of the section in Hanoi is about 28.58km (of which, the newly built section is about 8.06km; the section overlapping with the Hanoi - Thai Nguyen Expressway/ Ring Road 3, Tu Lien Bridge Road is about 20.52km).

The Hanoi People's Committee and the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province agreed to increase the scale of the entire connecting route from Gia Binh airport (Bac Ninh province) to the center of Hanoi city to about 100-120m and expand the study space for urban development along both sides of the route from 300-400m. The Hanoi People's Committee also agreed to propose research and orientation, development of urban railway lines along the connecting route from Gia Binh airport to the center of Hanoi (specialized in the next phase) to connect with urban railway line No. 01 (Yen Vien - Ngoc Hoi) and Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway line; agreed with the proposal to move the connecting route from Gia Binh airport to the center of Hanoi to the South about 100m and move the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway line plan to synchronously the section adjacent to VSIP Bac Ninh Industrial Park (so as not to affect VSIP Bac Ninh Industrial Park).
