Approving the planning task of urban area in Yen Phong district

The scope of planning study is in the administrative boundaries of Trung Nghia commune and Cho town. It is combined with two main functions including cultural tourism and general services, and urban area.

In particular, the cultural tourism and general service area cover an area of about 40 hectares, consisting of cultural and service centers of the regional and urban level (05 construction works with unique architecture); the Farmers’ Museum; entertainment area with folk, electronic, and thrilling games,...

The urban area has the size of 60 hectares, ensuring the technical and social infrastructure according to the criterion of units in a grade-1 urban center including public works, educational and sports works, green trees, etc.

The approval of detailed urban planning tasks aims to concretize the project of general planning of Cho town and surrounding area until 2030 and a vision to 2050, to build eco-urban area, cultural tourism and services centers in close association with living space, which are oriented to friendliness, preservation traditional cultural values in the region, meeting the requirements of socio-economic development of the province, the cultural identity of the province.
