The provincial leaders receive the Korean enterprises

(BNP) – In the evening of December 10th, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to welcome Korean business delegation, paying a visit and learning investment opportunities in Bac Ninh.

Attending the reception were comrades: Nguyen Nhan Chien, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; Nguyen Tu Quynh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Dao Hong Lan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Huong Giang, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of some departments, committees, branches and localities in the province.

Delivering a speech to nearly 100 Korean enterprises paying a visit and learning investment opportunities in Bac Ninh, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Quynh affirmed that despite being the smallest province in the country, Bac Ninh has maintained a high growth rate with impressive figures over past few years such as the size of the economy ranking 4th, industrial production value ranking 2nd nationwide, annual export turnover of about USD 30 billion. There are 16 industrial zones in the province, of which 10 have been put into operation with more than 1,200 FDI projects, total capital about USD 17 billion. In particular, Korea has more than 800 projects with registered capital of over USD 12 billion with big global brands such as Samsung, Orion... It proves the open and incentive policies as well as belief of investors in general and Korea in particular given to Bac Ninh.

In addition to economic cooperation, Bac Ninh and Korea have had relationships in history, with many cultural similarities. At present, many organizations and some provinces in Korea are working closely with Bac Ninh in the areas of cultural exchange, supporting the building of trade unions and new rural models.

On behalf of the Korean business delegation, Mr. Kwang Young Jin, Chairman of the ANYONE Group (Korea), thanked leaders and authorities of Bac Ninh province for their attention and support for the past few years so that Korean enterprises operate stably and develop their production and business. At the same time, Korean side hoped that Bac Ninh would continue to improve its investment environment, competitiveness, and support Korean enterprises in particular and business community in Bac Ninh in general to gain more successes, thereby contributing to the overall socio-economic development of the province.
