Bac Ninh hands over 02 aid projects to Hua Phan province (Laos)
(BNP) - Continuing the working session of the high-level delegation of Bac Ninh province led by Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huong Giang, the handover ceremony of 02 projects funded by Bac Ninh province to Hua Phan province took place on June 21 in Hua Phan province, Lao People's Democratic Republic.

Covering on an area of more than 3,700 m2, the project of Great Hall has been built since 2017 in the center of Hua Phan province, with a total capital of more than VND 90 billion donated by Bac Ninh province. The building has a modern Lao style, with 9 function rooms, especially, a large meeting room can accommodate up to 900 seats with many modern technical equipment.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairwoman Nguyen Huong Giang praised and highly appreciated the efforts of the design, construction, supervision consultant, the investor and relevant agencies of the two provinces during the construction and completion of the project.
Provincial Party Secretary, Provincial Governor Hua Phan thanked for the gift of Bac Ninh province’s Party Committee, government and people.
Also on the afternoon of June 21, the handover ceremony of the project of Phon Xay High School, Sam Nua district, Hua Phan province with the aid capital of VND 3 billion was took place. The project is a 1-storey building with 4 classrooms, 1 office and 2 auxiliary rooms. The project is started and completed in 2021.
From 2012 to now, Bac Ninh province has awarded 45 scholarships to students of Hua Phan province. The two projects supported by Bac Ninh province will become a symbol of the friendship between the two provinces in particular and the two countries Vietnam - Laos in general.
