Chairwoman Nguyen Huong Giang visits and works in Hua Phan province (Laos)
(BNP) - On June 20, a high-ranking delegation of Bac Ninh province led by Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huong Giang visited and worked in Hua Phan province, Lao People's Democratic Republic.
Chairwoman Nguyen Huong Giang and the delegation works with leaders of Hua Phan province (Laos).
On June 21, the working session of the two sides was held. Participants at the receiving and working with the Delegation were Mr. Van Xay Pheng Xum Ma, Member of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Governor of Hua Phan Province; leaders of a number of departments and branches of Hua Phan province.
Xay Pheng Xum Ma warmly welcomed the high-ranking delegation of Bac Ninh province to visit and work in Hua Phan province. He expressed his joy at the outstanding achievements of Vietnamese people in general and Bac Ninh in particular over the past time.
On the other hand, Xay Pheng Xum Ma Quick briefed on the Hua Phan province’s situation of socio-economic development. He hoped that Bac Ninh province to continue helping Hua Phan in building infrastructure, especially schools and hospitals; the support of human resource training; the investment cooperation between the two localities.
For her part, Chairwoman Giang informed about the socio-economic development situation of Bac Ninh province. She congratulated the outstanding achievements of Hua Phan province in recent years, especially, the hunger eradication and poverty reduction; the maintenance of political stability as well as economic growth.
Bac Ninh will continue to support Hua Phan to organize meaningful activities to celebrate the Year of Friendship and Solidarity between Vietnam - Laos, Laos - Vietnam, the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and 45th anniversary of signing of the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between Vietnam and Laos in 2022, Giang added.
According to the Cooperation Agreement, the two sides agreed to continue to maintain the contents of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two provinces.
