Bac Ninh is determined to unanimously implement direction of General Secretary To Lam on handling environmental pollution in craft villages

Comrade To Lam gives a speech at the 20th Bac Ninh Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025.

At the 20th Bac Ninh Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025, in his capacity as Politburo member, Minister of Public Security, on behalf of the Politburo and the Party Central Committee, General Secretary To Lam proposed 7 key tasks in the new term for the Provincial Party Committee, in which, special emphasis was placed on the issue of sustainable Bac Ninh development based on 3 pillars.

General Secretary To Lam emphasized that building Bac Ninh province to develop sustainably on 3 basic pillars (economic development, social progress, environmental protection, traditional craft villages combined with environmental protection solutions). Bac Ninh will overcome all difficulties and challenges to successfully implement the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress and complete the basic criteria to soon become a civilized and modern city directly under the Central Government, he stressed.

The Provincial Party Committee approved the Project “Overall environmental pollution treatment in Phong Khe ward, Bac Ninh city, phase 2022 – 2030” and “Overall environmental treatment project in Van Mon craft village, Yen Phong district, phase 2022 – 2026”.

The Provincial People’s Committee has established a Steering Committee, with high determination, especially raising the responsibility of the leaders, so far the pollution problem in the two polluting craft villages Phong Khe and Van Mon has been gradually eliminated.

The environment in Phong Khe paper village has gradually become clean again, and the Ngu Huyen Khe river is also gradually regaining its original green color. Meanwhile, in Van Mon village, dust and noise no longer surround the people as before.

To achieve this result, it is the close direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the drastic direction of the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, especially promoting the responsibility of the leader to give a specific roadmap, count each work item, according to the motto “Clear people, clear work, clear responsibility”. Solving the environmental problem of craft villages has concretized the direction of comrade To Lam at the 20th Provincial Party Congress, developing Bac Ninh in a sustainable direction, resolutely not trading the environment for economy and social progress.
