Bac Ninh wins 5 medals at National Judo Club Championship 2023

The tournament attracted nearly 300 athletes of 35 clubs from 22 provinces, cities and industries across the country.

Athletes competed in 18 individual fighting classes (men and women), 2 team fighting events (men and women); 5 kata content (performer rights).

At this tournament, the Bac Ninh Judo team sent 11 athletes and won 5 medals (1 gold, 2 silvers, 2 bronzes). Specifically, the gold medal belonged to 2 athletes: Dam Duy Ky and Nguyen Cong Ha (kata content); 2 silver medals belonged to athletes Nguyen Minh Hoan (55kg class) and Nguyen Thi Nhan (under 45kg), fighting content; 2 bronze medals by Nguyen Thi Thom (under 42kg) and Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy (under 78) won in the women's fighting event.

The tournament is organized to test and evaluate the quality of activities and promote the judo practice movement at clubs across the country, thereby detecting and selecting excellent athletes to supplement the National Judo team to compete in international tournaments in the near future.
