Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee receives and works with Biwater Group

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Quynh takes the photo with Biwater Group.

At the meeting, Mr. Edwin Tan thanked Bac Ninh’s leader for the warm welcome and introduced that Biwater Group, one of the UK's major corporations, specializes in providing solutions for wastewater treatment and filter technology, advice, and management against water loss, environmental advice. In Vietnam, the Group has deployed the project of Yen So Waste Water Treatment Plant in Hoang Mai district, Hanoi city.

In the coming time, Asian Regional Director of Biwater Group wishes to receive help as well as favorable conditions of the provincial leaders and functional departments so that the Group can learn and provide solutions for wastewater treatment in the province, aiming to improve water conditions and contribute to environmental protection.

For his part, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Quynh welcomed Biwater Group to visit and explore investment and cooperation opportunities in Bac Ninh province. Leader of Bac Ninh said that in the province, there are 2 wastewater treatment plants located in Bac Ninh city and Tu Son town, while affirmed along with the economic development, for the past years, Bac Ninh province has paid special attention to the issue of environmental pollution treatment, especially wastewater treatment in the context of industrial development nowadays.

After the discussion, Chairman Nguyen Tu Quynh assigned the Departments of Planning and Investment, Finance and Construction to coordinate with the Biwater to take the survey, build the most suitable investment plan in the coming time.
