Mobilizing capital from the people increased by 11.1% over the same period
(BNP) - According to the Statistics Bureau, the total capital mobilized from the banking sector by the end of February 2019 was estimated at VND 100,500 billion, decreasing slightly by 0.8% from the previous month but still increasing by 12 % compared to the same month last year and increasing by 1.4% compared to the end of 2018.

In particular, the savings deposit of residents was 61,500 billion VND, accounting for 60.2%, up 2%, 11.1%, and 4.4%. Total outstanding loans by the end of February were estimated at VND 80,800 billion, down by 0.7% compared to the previous month, but still increasing by 16.4% over the same period last year and by 0.3% compared to the end of 2018. The overdue debt was VND 710 billion, down 5.5% compared to the end of January, and the debt ratio was low, accounting for 0.88% of total outstanding loans.
