(BNP) - In the afternoon of April 14, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huong Giang visited book display at the Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in Bac Ninh province in 2023.

Taking place in 3 days from April 14 to 16 at the Van Mieu Balancing Lake Park, Book and Reading Culture Day included main activities such as: Organization of exhibition and introduction of books; book donation; exchange and discussion with speakers, authors and readers; performing arts, folk games...
Chairwoman Giang highly appreciated the direction and organization of activities in the program of Vietnam Book Day and Reading Culture in Bac Ninh province 2023.
She stressed that the Book and Reading Culture Day is event to create positive effects in encouraging and developing the movement of reading, writing, preserving books and promoting books in the community.
In the coming time, the Chairwoman suggested that publishers, bookstores and book publishing companies create the best conditions to help readers improve their knowledge sources for work, study and research.
The Department of Information and Communications continued to propagate and mobilize people to raise awareness of reading culture; mobilize the participation and contributions of all levels, branches, social organizations and strata of people so that Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in Bac Ninh province becomes a meaningful annual activity.
