Delegation of Long An province works in Bac Ninh
(BNP) - On November 6, a delegation of Long An province led by Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, visited and worked with Bac Ninh province to share experiences in state management of Industrial Zones (IZ).

At the meeting, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee welcomed the delegation and expressed her hope for the strengthened exchange of experiences in all fields, thereby promoting the socio-economic development of the two localities for sustainable development in the coming time.
On behalf of the province's leaders, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dao Quang Khai, briefed on the province’s socio-economic situation. In 2020, despite difficulties especially the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the socio-economic situation of Bac Ninh still achieves important results with many indicators at the top of the country such as GRDP ranks 7th; GRDP per capita ranks 2nd; industrial scale ranks 1st; import and export turnover ranks 2nd; FDI attraction ranks 6th; State budget revenue ranks 9th. On the other hand, the cultural and social sectors are comprehensively developed, people's lives are improved and social welfare is guaranteed.
As for the IZ development, up to now, the Prime Minister has approved 16 IZs of Bac Ninh province, among which 12 are in operation with nearly 1,600 projects and total investment capital of more than USD 20 billion. Of these above projects, 1,100 ones come from 37 countries and territories with total investment capital of nearly USD 18 billion.
Representatives of departments and branches of Bac Ninh province also answered issues of Long An’s interest, shared experiences on investment attraction policies, planning management, land lease, environment protection, site clearance, etc.
On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc, Secretary of the Long An Provincial Party Committee respectfully thanked for the warm welcome and congratulated the outstanding achievements in the socio-economic development of Bac Ninh province in recent years. He emphasized that the initiatives in socio-economic development, especially the investment promotion to IZ in Bac Ninh, will be valuable experiences for Long An province to apply in the coming time.
Before the meeting, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huong Giang and the delegation of Long An province paid a visit to Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation and Que Vo IZ.
