Exhibition of gems, ornamental stones and creatures in Giap Thin Spring 2024 opens

Participants at the ceremony were: Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mrs. Tran Thi Hang, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council, and the former provincial leaders; the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises; the Vietnam Ornamental Creature Association; the Vietnam Association of Ornamental and Fengshui Stones; Business associations of some provinces; leaders of some provincial departments and branches.

The exhibition of gems and ornamental stones displays thousands of works from more than 250 enterprises in the provinces and cities across the country. The main products are: Gemstones, artificial ornamental stones, jewelry stones, gemstone paintings, art statues, natural ornamental stones, etc. These are diverse works of art rich in content and made with precious stone materials. The ingenuity and creativity of artisans have created sophisticated, lively works of art that are close to nature.

Standing Vice Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan awards Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals.

The exhibition of ornamental creatures displays more than 1,000 typical works and more than 10,000 ornamental creature products by authors from 18 provinces and cities nationwide. The works fully converge the art quintessence from traditional bonsai to contemporary ones, creating a colorful picture in the early days of spring.

This is an opportunity for people and tourists inside and outside the province to admire works of high aesthetic value. It introduces the potential of Vietnam’s natural gem resources, thereby, contributing to the widespread promotion to domestic and international friends of the Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac countryside, which is rich in historical tradition and cultural identity.

At the ceremony, the provincial leaders and delegates cut the ribbon to open the exhibition and visited the display booths.

The works of gemstones and ornamental stones win Gold Medals.

On this occasion, collectives and individuals with achievements received Certificates of Merit from the Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee. The Organizing Committee also awarded outstanding booth certificates, Gold Medals, Silver Medals to excellent works and the title “Vietnamese Ornamental Creature Artist” to individuals.

The works of ornamental creatures are displayed at the exhibition.

The exhibition takes place from February 18 to March 5 at Van Mieu Balancing Lake area and Nguyen Van Cu park in Bac Ninh city.
