Impressions of Festival "Coming back to Quan Ho land"
(BNP) - Since Quan Ho folk song was honored by UNESCO as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity, Bac Ninh has had many activities to preserve and promote heritage values, including successfully organized 3 festivals "Coming back to Quan Ho land". Each festival has left a particularly deep impression in the hearts of the public and tourists.
Festival "Coming back to Quan Ho land - 2019".
In 2010, right after Quan Ho folk song was honored by UNESCO as the representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity, Bac Ninh organized the first festival program. This is the largest general cultural, sports and tourism event to honor the land and people of Kinh Bac. The highlight of the first Festival is the Ceremony to receive the Certificate of Recognition of Quan Ho Bac Ninh Folk Song - Representative Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity; a special art program. At the program, for the first time, 40 artisans were honored by the Provincial People's Committee and awarded the title of Artist of Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Song. This is a worthy and timely recognition and honor of the Party and State for artisans who have made great contributions to maintaining, preserving and teaching Quan Ho folk songs in the province.
In 2014, the 2nd Festival continued to be held with the theme "Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac magnanimity" with the logo being the letter printed with the poem "Nam Quoc Son Ha" by Ly Thuong Kiet.

Marking 10 years since the Quan ho Bac Ninh folk songs became part of the intangible cultural heritage of humanity, in 2019, the Festival "Coming back to Quan Ho land" was held. This is an opportunity to evaluate the results of 10 years of implementing commitments with UNESCO in deploying tasks and solutions to preserve and promote the value of Quan Ho folk song heritage in Bac Ninh; promoting and introducing to international and domestic friends about the quintessential, and unique values of Quan Ho Bac Ninh Folk Song in particular and the history and culture of the countryside of Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac.

In 2023, Bac Ninh organizes the Festival "Coming back to Quan Ho land - 2023", connecting the quintessence of intangible cultural heritages registered by UNESCO. The festival will take place from February 24 to 28, 2023 in Bac Ninh city and other districts and cities in the province.
The highlight of this Festival is the art programs to introduce and perform the unique cultural features of the representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity - Bac Ninh Quan ho folk song. At the same time, there are the presence of intangible cultural heritages registered by UNESCO: Hue’s Court Music; Xoan singing (Phu Tho); Bai Choi (Quang Nam); Don ca tai tu in the South (Bac Lieu); Vi mi mi (Ha Tinh) folk song; Gongs in the Central Highlands (Dak Lak).
Festivals attract a large number of people and tourists.
Along with festivals, many major events of the province are also associated with diverse and rich cultural activities. Highlights such as: The art program "Coming back to Quan Ho land" in 2012, 2015; Celebration of 185th anniversary of establishment and 20th anniversary of of re-establishing Bac Ninh province in 2017; Celebration of 190 anniversary of establishment and 25 anniversary of re-establishing Bac Ninh province in 2022…
