More than 2,300 food establishments inspected during Lunar New Year 2024
(BNP) – During the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin in 2024, Bac Ninh province established 137 interdisciplinary inspection teams, conducting inspections of 2,325 food production, business, and catering service establishments in the locality; fined 7 establishments with a fine of VND 36.5 million; conducted 20 samples for laboratory testing, and 100% of the samples passed.

On the other hand, the authorities also promoted propaganda to raise awareness among managers, producers, processors, food traders, and consumers in ensuring food safety; establish 02 rapid response food poisoning investigation teams ready to respond to food safety incidents.
From February 4 to February 13, 2024, no food poisoning cases occurred in the entire province.
