Provincial leaders meet with Association of Bac Ninh Compatriots in Hanoi
(BNP) - On March 4, the Association of Bac Ninh Compatriots in Hanoi (Association) held a meeting at the beginning of Giap Thin Spring 2024. Mr. Tran Van Tuy, a former member of the Party Central Committee and former Head of the National Assembly Delegates' Working Committee and Chairman of the Association of Bac Ninh Compatriots in Hanoi chaired the meeting. Minister of Information and Communication Nguyen Manh Hung also attended the meeting.

Over the past time, the Association has organized many positive and meaningful programs and activities, contributing to building the increasingly civilized and modern homeland of Bac Ninh.

In 2023, the Association awarded scholarships to 50 Bac Ninh’s poor students in studying at universities in Hanoi; gave many meaningful gifts to poor students, policy families, and families in difficult circumstances. In particular, during the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024, the Association's Executive Committee in coordination with the Gia Binh District Party Standing Committee awarded 200 bicycles and nearly 1,000 gifts to poor students, policy families, and families in difficult circumstances in the district...

At the meeting, PPC’s Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan briefed on the province's socio-economic development situation over the past few years. At the same time, he affirmed that these results are due to the support, sharing, and important support of the Association for the homeland.

The Secretary hoped that Association would continue to have many practical and effective activities to further spread the image of the land and people of Bac Ninh-Kinh Bac. At the same time, the Association continues to care for, support, and accompany Bac Ninh province in the coming development journey, contributing to making the homeland increasingly stronger, Tuan added.
