Tu Son City organizes 21st Cross Country Tournament- Healthy to Make a Career and Protect Country
(BNP) - On March 3, the City Culture and Sports Center and Tu Son City Youth Union jointly organized the 21st Traditional Youth Cross Country Tournament with the theme "Healthy to make a career and protect the country" in 2024.

The tournament this year attracted 300 athletes representing 19 units from wards, schools and affiliated youth union, and the clubs in the city. Athletes participated in the two contents: young women's at 2,500m distance and the men at 5,000m distance.
At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the whole delegation to Tam Son ward, the second prize to Doi Co Club (Tan Hong ward) and the third prize to Chau Khe ward.
In addition, the first prize in the men's team was awarded to Tam Son ward, and the first prize in the women's team was awarded to Doi Co Club. On the other hand, the organizing committee awarded first, second, third, and consolation prizes in individual men's and women's events.
The Cross Country Tournament aims to evaluate, encourage, and promote the physical training movement in general and the running movement in particular among the people, especially the youth, thereby selecting excellent athletes to participate in the Nagakawa running race with the theme "Healthy to make a career and protect the country" – 28th Bac Ninh Newspaper Cup in 2024. This is also a practical activity to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - 2024) and 78 years of Vietnamese Sports Day (March 27, 1946 - 2024).
