Provincial Library organizes talk on "Following in footsteps of our fathers and brothers, worthy of being Uncle Ho's soldiers"

(BNP) - On December 16, the Provincial Library and Tien An Secondary School jointly organized a thematic talk with the theme "Following in the footsteps of our fathers and brothers, worthy of being Uncle Ho's soldiers" to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - 2024) and the 35th anniversary of National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - 2024).

At the talk, Lieutenant Colonel, Master Le Xuan Hieu, officer of the Propaganda Department, General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, introduced the birth, development and growth of the Vietnam People's Army, the history and significance of the National Defense Day, building the Army, strengthening national defense, firmly protecting the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland (1975-2024) and following in footsteps of our fathers and brothers, worthy of being Uncle Ho's soldiers to teachers and students of Tien An Secondary School listened to

He emphasized the glorious tradition of the Vietnam People's Army's 80-year history of building, growing, fighting, winning, and developing; propagating and educating the younger generation about the nation's tradition of fighting to defend the country and the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" and educating patriotism and socialism. Through the talk, the younger generation - students of Tien An Secondary School continued to strive to cultivate, study well, train seriously, bring their youth and ambition to serve the Fatherland, the People, society, and the community, thereby contributing to the building and firmly protecting the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam in the new situation, and implementing beloved Uncle Ho's teachings.

Also at the thematic talk, students of Tien An Secondary School had the opportunity to exchange and learn about the glorious 80-year history of building, fighting and growing of the Vietnam People's Army in the cause of national liberation, building and defending the socialist Vietnam Fatherland.
