Provincial Museum organizes many activities to attract visitors
(BNP) - In the first 6 months of 2023, the Provincial Museum organized many display activities on the occasion of major national and provincial holidays and anniversaries, thereby attracting many visitors to visit, study, research about the history and culture in the province.
Thematic exhibition "Buddhist Heritage of Bac Ninh Province".
In the first 6 months of 2023, the Provincial Museum welcomed about 48,693 visitors from inside and outside the province to visit, research and experience. One of the outstanding activities is the organization of a mobile exhibition outside the province at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology with the theme: "Cultural quintessence of Quan Ho Bac Ninh", introducing to domestic and foreign tourists to directly approach the good traditional values of Kinh Bac - Bac Ninh homeland and the Vietnamese people. Thematic mobile exhibition "Brighting forever the example of a revolutionary soldier in Bac Ninh province who was imprisoned by the enemy during the resistance war against the US imperialists" in Bac Ninh city and Que Vo town.
Besides, the Provincial Museum also displayed 02 topics with the theme "Buddhist Heritage of Bac Ninh Province" and "President Ho Chi Minh with the Party Committee and people of Bac Ninh"; organized the display of over 100 documents and artifacts about Quan Ho cultural heritage at Quan Ho Bac Ninh Theater to serve activities at the Festival "Coming back to Quan Ho land - 2023" and welcomed the delegation of heads of foreign diplomatic missions in Vietnam.
Experiential education activities attracted about 19,600 visitors with interesting activities such as: Printing Dong Ho paintings, polishing Phu Lang ceramics, making Dinh Bang lacquer paintings, grinding flour with stone mortars, making water cakes, mixing making drinks from fruit; folk games such as breaking pots, jumping stalls, painting statues, tug of war, catching fish; collective activities such as soldiers with training ground, special forces soldiers, crossing barriers to overseas bridges...
Provincial Museum and Kinh Thanh Research Institute jointly organized a report on preliminary results of archaeological excavations of Dong Lam pagoda relics (Gia Binh district), this is the basis for the competent authorities to develop appropriate plans for management, conservation and promotion of relic values.
In the coming time, the Provincial Museum will continue to coordinate with agencies and units in the province to organize propaganda campaigns about the land and people of Kinh Bac origin through exhibitions; actively survey and collect artifacts and antiquities of revolutionary historical periods to enrich the archives; well-perform the inventory, preservation and adjustment of the contents and forms of exhibits; strengthen facilities and equipment to meet the needs of people and visitors to visit, study and research./.
