Mrs. Tran Thi Hang, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council (2nd from left); Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ha, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee (3rd from left) and delegates plant trees in response.
Mrs. Tran Thi Hang, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ha, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee attended the event.
In recent years, the Women's Union at all levels has planted over 400,000 meters of flower paths and more than 110,000 trees of all types. The province had 193 "3 Clean Villages"; 47 "Safe Villages, Civilized Streets"; 43 Waste-free Residential Areas; and 1,040 Women's Self-Managed Roads. The Union continued to develop and duplicate significant concepts such as "Family of 5 No, 3 Clean," "Family of 5 Yes, 3 Clean," and "Each Garbage Pit - One Tree," which help to create more green, clean, beautiful, and sustainable living areas. At the inauguration event, the Provincial Women's Union presented the "Women's Tree Road" and planted 200 Taiwan Banyan trees on Route 276 between Lien Bao and Viet Doan communes (worth VND 90 million).
Chairwoman Nguyen Phuong Mai requested that all levels of the Union, as well as each cadre, member, and woman, actively respond to the tree planting movement, raise their sense of responsibility, and take a variety of specific measures to protect trees and improve the quality of roads and streets managed by women. Each member and woman becomes an active propagandist, working together to defend the environment, create new rural areas, and civilize cities. The District Women's Union, as well as the Women's Unions of communes and branches, remain key organizations in extending the drive to build a green, clean, and beautiful landscape that is appropriate for practical situations and maximizes the locality's assets.
On this occasion, the Provincial Women's Union presented 20 gifts to students who are children of union members and women in difficult circumstances studying at Viet Doan Primary and Secondary School, each worth VND 1 million.
