Scientific workshop "Contributions of Dang family in historical process of Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac land" held

Attending the workshop were leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; scientists Central and local; representatives from the Dang family in the province.

Bac Ninh is a land rich in cultural and revolutionary traditions, the birthplace of the Vietnamese Ancestor (Kinh Duong Vuong) and is known as a land with many famous great families such as: Nguyen, Tran, Pham, Le, Vu, Phan, Truong, Bui, Dang...

The Dang family appeared quite early in Vietnamese history. In Bac Ninh province, there are many Dang families with origins from many different localities. In 2017, with the desire to connect the clan and find the roots of the descendants of the Dang family, the clans agreed to establish the Dang Family Council in Vietnam Bac Ninh province. Unanimously took the Dang family mausoleum in Phu Hoa commune, Luong Tai district, as the common ancestral temple. Purposes gather into an organization to unify the branches into the Dang family in the whole Bac Ninh province. According to statistics from the Dang Family Council of Vietnam in Bac Ninh province, up to now, it has contacted and connected descendants in the family in 8 districts, towns, and cities in the province, including 138 branches, with a total population of about 10,000 people. The scientific conference is a work of profound scientific significance, from the research results of scientists, as a basis for the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of the province to advise the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to issue support policies and mechanisms for the families in Bac Ninh province.

The Dang family appeared quite early in Vietnamese history, recorded as generals of the Dinh Dynasty who had the merit of suppressing the 12 warlords. Throughout the history of the nation, in almost every period, the Dang family had talented people serving the country, such as: Dang Huyen Quang, one of the 6 people appointed to official positions in the capital Hoa Lu by King Dinh Tien Hoang; Dang Ma La, a third-ranked scholar in the Tran Dynasty; Dang Cong Chat, a first-ranked scholar, Prime Minister of the Le Trung Hung Dynasty; Dang Xuan Khu, aka the late General Secretary Truong Chinh...
