Secretary of Provincial Party Committee attends Opening ceremony at Ly Thai To High School

(BNP) – On September 5, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee and Head of Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies attended the Opening ceremony of the new 2023 - 2024 academic year at Ly Thai To High School, Tu Son city.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Phung Duc Chien, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of Provincial Party Committee’s Organization Commission; leaders of Department of Education and Training, Office of Provincial Party Committee, Provincial Youth Union, Tu Son city, and teachers, parents as well as nearly 2.000 students of the school.

In the school year 2022-2023, Ly Thai To High School continued to boost the emulation movement “Teach well, learn well” and gained many achievements: 98,7% of the students obtained good conduct; 78,65% of the students obtained good culture; won 37 prizes at the provincial-level excellent student competition in cultural subjects. Especially, 67 students earned 27 points or more in the 2023 High school graduation exam, among which 06 students achieved 28 points. The average score of graduation exam subjects ranked 6th out of 23 public schools in the province.

In the school year 2023-2024, Ly Thai To High School continues to affirm its position with the solutions to management, direction, quality improvement of comprehensive and spearhead education, especially the quality of grade 12 in the High school graduation exam. The school also strengthens the disciplines in teaching, focuses on educating students about life values, skills and cultural codes of conduct.

At the ceremony, Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan performed the drum ceremony and presented flowers to congratulate the achievements of Ly Thai To High School’s teachers and students in the last school year, actively contributing to the province’s glorious education – training career.
