Bac Ha International University welcomes students from Laos and Cambodia

Bac Ha International University was established under the Prime Minister's Decision no. 1369/QD-TTg dated October 10^th 2007, with the mandate of training human resources in the fields of Information Technology, Telecommunication - Electronics Engineering, Banking and Finance, Accounting... In particular, the school has been continuously deploying and expanding international cooperation in the fields of training, researching and transferring technology, especially in the field of training foreign students and exchanging students to study in other countries.

34 students from Laos and Cambodia are among 300 international students attending the 2018-2019 school year. According to the training program, Lao and Cambodian students will be trained in Vietnamese language in the first year. After the Vietnamese language course, they will be selected suitable subjects for study. These students will be exempted from all tuition fees and dormitories during their time at school.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phong welcomed the new students and briefed on the characteristics of geographic location, historical traditions, culture and the outstanding achievements in the socio-economic development of the province over the past time. In the coming time, he urged Bac Ha International University and other related departments to create learning opportunities in the best environment for students from Laos and Cambodia in particular and international students in general with an aim to having skills and knowledge to serve their country, thereby, tightening the solidarity between the three countries.
