Bac Ninh City Youth Union launches peak of 2024 Youth Month

Participants at the program were Mr. Ta Dang Doan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Secretary of the Bac Ninh City Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Hoang Long, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Bac Ninh City Party Committee and Chairman of the Bac Ninh City People’s Council; leaders of the Provincial Youth Union, the Standing Committee of the City People’s Council, leaders of the City People’s Committee, and departments and branches of Bac Ninh city as well as nearly 700 union members and youth in the city.

With the theme “Youth of Bac Ninh city volunteer for community life”, during the 3 peak weeks of Youth Month, the city’s youth will carry out 10 key targets, 7 focused activities at the city level and 7 simultaneously launched activities at the grassroots level. Especially, the youth focus on synchronous digital transformation activities in all aspects of the Union’s work, concretizing 3 movements and 3 major programs of the Union. They focus on building urban civilization, protecting the environment, developing themselves, and starting a business. They also focus on implementing 3 links in implementing volunteer activities and selecting tasks that are carried out on the motto “Clear work, which must be practical”.

At the launching ceremony, the Standing Committee of Bac Ninh City Youth Union launched 6 youth volunteer squads including: youth who accompany in studying, cultivating themselves, and starting a career; youth who volunteer to preserve and promote the cultural values of Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac people; youth pioneer digital transformation; youth who fight for a green environment; youth who take action for community health; and youth who volunteer for social order and security, and traffic safety.

At the same time, the Standing Committee also awarded Vietnam’s maps and the National flag to the Unions in response to the campaign “Proud of a stretch of mountains and rivers”; debuted a Point Youth Union branch at the model “Mobilizing for the establishment of Youth Union organizations at non-state enterprises”; and gave gifts to children in difficult circumstances, etc.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, leaders, delegates and union members participated in activities such as: free medical examination and medicine consultation; career counseling; digital transformation and traffic safety propagation; construction of the Khen Hong youth tree road project, and so on.

The effectively implemented activities in 2024 Youth Month by the Bac Ninh city’s youth will contribute to affirming, promoting the proactive and volunteer role of the youth in socio-economic development and construction, and building the city to become increasingly developed. At the same time, the activities create a peak emulation period for youth to practically celebrate the 93^rd anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the 6^th Congress of the City Youth Federation, and the 12^th Congress of Uncle Ho’s Good Children.
