Model of "Women's Association Bookshelf" in Cho quarter, An Binh ward launches
(BNP) - On March 7, the Provincial Women's Union held a conference to launch the model of the "Women's Union Bookshelf" in Cho quarter, An Binh ward, Thuan Thanh town. This is the model chosen by the Provincial Women's Union as a point of reference to replicate throughout the province.

The "Women's Association Bookshelf" in Cho quarter (An Binh ward) is located at the Community Reading Room. Currently, it contains over 300 books of various content and form, including those about learning and adhering to Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style; the Party's policies and guidelines; the State's policies and laws; Vietnamese sea and island; traditions, cultural values, national identity and so on.
The reading room is open on Saturdays and Sundays for members, women, and people to read on the spot or borrow to take home.
At the program, the Provincial Women's Union donated 500 books with diverse content to the "Women's Union Bookshelf" in Market quarter, An Binh ward.
This is one of the practical activities to celebrate the 1984 anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung uprising and the 114th anniversary of International Women's Day on March 8, responding to the emulation movement "Building Vietnamese Women in a New Era." At the same time, it helps officials and women members in Thuan Thanh in particular and Women's Union levels in the province in general be exemplary, take the lead, and actively respond to the reading movement, contributing to implementing the criterion having knowledge of the emulation movement “Building Bac Ninh women in the new era”; successfully implementing the project on developing reading culture in the community to 2020, with a vision to 2030 approved by the Prime Minister and Resolution No. 71-NQ/TU of the 20th Provincial Party Executive Committee on “Cultural and human development, towards meeting requirements for the northern province’s sustainable development until 2030.
