Bac Ninh continues to deploy and put task of building “Traffic Safety Province” into regular implementation
(BNP) - The Provincial People’s Committee issued Document No. 418/UBND-NC on continuing to deploy and put the task of building a “Traffic Safety Province” into regular implementation in the province.

The Provincial People’s Committee requests units and localities to seriously implement the Directives of the Secretariat and the Prime Minister on ensuring order and traffic safety in the new situation; handle cadres, civil servants, public employees and soldiers in the armed forces who violate regulations on driving vehicles with alcohol concentration in their blood or breath, and do not cooperate with the authorities in handling violations. They also deploy the Decisions of the Provincial People’s Committee on promulgating the set of traffic safety criteria, and the “Traffic Culture” Code of Bac Ninh people.
Heads of departments, branches, agencies, units, and localities continue to do a good job of managing and educating cadres, civil servants, and public employees to strictly comply with the provisions of the law on traffic safety and order, absolutely not to influence or interfere with the handling of traffic safety and order violations by functional forces; strictly handle cases of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, and officers and soldiers of the armed forces who violate traffic safety and order.
The Provincial Public Security continues to strictly handle violations of traffic safety order, and focuses on detecting and handling violations that are the main causes of serious traffic accidents.
The Department of Transport shall chair and coordinate with the People's Committees of localities to continue to inspect, review and prioritize investment funds to handle and overcome “black spots” and potential traffic safety risks on national highways, provincial roads, urban roads, inter-district and inter-commune roads.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism presides over and produces short films to promote the “Traffic Culture” Code of Bac Ninh people; develops scripts and staged skits; directs the District Center for Culture, Sports and Communications to organize propaganda and widely disseminate the Code to create a strong response movement throughout society.
The Department of Education and Training directs the education and training divisions, and educational institutions to seriously and effectively implement the work of ensuring traffic safety and order for school-age children.
Mass media agencies and communications from the province to the grassroots level should increase broadcasting time, publish news and articles to propagate, disseminate and educate legal regulations on order and traffic safety to residential groups, residential areas, villages, hamlets, schools, union members and youth; disseminate risks and causes of increased traffic accidents, ways to prevent traffic accidents, penalties for violations, especially the consequences of using alcohol and beer while driving vehicles.
