Bac Ninh forms Vietnam's leading electronics center associated with smart technology

By 2030, Bac Ninh will promote the development of the industries of high-tech manufacturing semiconductor equipment production  and information technology.

According to planning, Bac Ninh province will have 25 industrial parks by 2030. In particular, the province prioritizes the development of integrated  industrial parks, specialized industrial parks, and synchronous and high-quality multi-functional industrial parks; encouragement of the construction of models of eco-industrial parks and urban-service industrial parks; the research of converting 1–2 existing industrial parks into eco-industrial park models.

The industrial development space includes 4 regions: Electronic Technology Valley (Yen Phong district); Industrial Corridor (Que Vo town); New Industrial Park (Thuan Thanh town and Luong Tai district, Gia Binh district; Center for Information Technology and High Technology (Tien Du district and Bac Ninh city.

Regarding development direction, Bac Ninh will focus on developing high-tech industries, green industries, forming Vietnam's leading electronics center associated with smart technology, and accelerating the progress of large industrial projects, which have a pervasive impact and become the main driving force for economic growth in the province and the whole country. The province also diversifies and promotes the development of high-tech manufacturing industries such as semiconductor equipment production, information technology, pharmaceutical industry, healthcare, renewable energy equipment, etc. to enhance the industry's position of Bac Ninh province in the global value chain.

Regarding industrial clusters, Bac Ninh province will have 30 industrial clusters by 2030. The province will distribute and arrange space for industrial cluster development on the basis of environmental protection and the economical and effective use of land and other resources.

To achieve the above goal, Bac Ninh province will promote the development of technical infrastructure, social infrastructure, especially transportation, urban, and digital infrastructure; complete the infrastructure of industrial parks to attract large domestic and international corporations and businesses; transform industrial parks; develop commercial and e-commerce infrastructure; and develop large logistics centers to circulate goods in the Northern region and the whole country.

On the other hand, the province focuses on developing industries with growth potential; transform and attract investment into new industry groups. The province gives outstanding internationally competitive incentives and incentive policies for large and important projects to attract strategic investors and multinational corporations to invest in production and business.
