Gia Binh district focuses on production for 2025 Spring crop

Accordingly, as of December 24, 2024, the district has plowed 3,100 hectares, equaling to 91.8% of the planned area; the winter crop planting area covered 974.7 hectares, reaching 98.7% of the plan.

From the above situation, in order to achieve the set plan for the 2025 Spring crop production, the District People’s Committee requests the district’s professional departments, the People’s Committees of communes and towns to focus on directing and implementing plowing; strengthening field sanitation to increase soil fertility and limit pests from transferring to cause damage to the Spring crop.

The functional agencies also strengthen the propaganda work of the province and district’s 2025 Spring crop production support policy; provide sufficient quantity and ensure the quality of all types of rice seeds; process and soak seeds properly, especially keep them warm and moist enough in cold conditions to ensure germination rate. At the same time, they need to organize sowing according to the crop schedule: sow seedlings from January 18 to January 28, 2025.
