Bac Ninh inaugurates Smart Tourism Portal

Provincial leaders press the button to open the Smart Tourism Portal of Bac Ninh province.

At the opening ceremony, the provincial leaders and participants performed the ritual of pressing the button to open the Smart Tourism Portal of Bac Ninh province.

Bac Ninh Smart Tourism Portal operates at http://mybacninh.vn or http://bacninhtourism.vn with full of useful features for travelers, business and tourism units and State management agencies. Using both Vietnamese and English languages, the portal is integrated into social media and compatible with smart mobile phones running Android and IOS operating systems. Users could easily watch a collection of videos featuring destinations, lodging facilities, restaurants as well as suggestions about outstanding events, banking services, health care and transportation in the locality.

The Smart Tourism Portal integrates the latest technologies and transmits information about Bac Ninh tourism to visitors as well as a channel to receive and timely handle visitor feedbacks to the State management agencies for tourism. The launch of the portal is part of Bac Ninh’s digitalization roadmap, thus making important contributions to local socio-economic development, towards turning tourism into one of the pillar economies of the province.

On the occasion, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism also announced a decision of the provincial People’s Committee recognizing Ly Thuong Kiet temple in Tam Giang commune, Yen Phong district; Dong Ky complex of temples and pagodas in Tu Son township, and a complex of tomb and temple dedicated to Cao Lo Vuong in Van Ninh commune, Gia Binh district as new tourist destinations and awarded the certificate of 5 standard facilities to serve tourists.
