Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Song Competition - Spring At Ty 2025
(BNP) – On the morning of March 3, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Song Competition in the Spring of At Ty 2025 (Competition) at the Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Song Theater (Viem Xa area, Hoa Long ward).
Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism present souvenir flags to units participating in the competition.
This year's Competition attracted the participation of 580 artisans, actors, musicians, and singers from 08 mass art troupes from localities and 58 Quan Ho villages.
The competition consisted of 2 parts, including the Quan Ho music competition stage, each district, town, and city unit establishes 01 mass art troupe to participate in a program in the form of solo singing; duet, trio; group singing through Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk songs with ancient lyrics; songs with new lyrics based on Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk songs, songs with the sound of Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk songs with content praising the glorious Party, great Uncle Ho, praising the historical and cultural traditions of the nation and the renovation process in the homeland and country.
The Organizing Committee will award First, Second, Third, and Encouragement prizes for the 50-song and 150-song response contests as well as First, Second, Third, and Encouragement prizes for the program and performances on the Quan Ho music competition stage according to each genre.
The Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Song Competition in the Year of the Snake - 2025 provides an opportunity for artists, Lien Anh, Lien Chi, and traditional cultural and artistic cores to connect, trade, and learn about their experiences performing the Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Song heritage. Continue to protect, maintain, and promote the value so that the Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Song tradition can be passed down and disseminated while remaining faithful to its intrinsic good meaning and identity. Re-examine the movement's quality and short- and long-term plans for implementing UNESCO heritage commitments; build cultural tourism products associated with sustainable "green industry"; and develop the "soft power" of Vietnamese culture, which will contribute to enhancing overall national strength in the future.
