Bac Ninh ranks second in whole delegation at 2023 National Club Weightlifting Championships
(BNP) - In the afternoon of November 2, the 2023 National Club Weightlifting Championships was closed at the Provincial Multipurpose Gymnasium.
Bac Ninh ranks second in whole delegation.
After 5 days (October 29 - November 2) of exciting competition, more than 170 athletes from 25 units and localities across the country tried their best to compete for 60 sets of medals in 20 weight categories of the men and women.
The Bac Ninh weightlifting team participated in the tournament with eight athletes and competed in eight weight categories. As a result, the Bac Ninh team won 15 medals of all kinds (8 gold, 6 silver, 1 bronze), ranked third in the men's team category and second in the whole delegation after the Ho Chi Minh City; Thanh Hoa ranked the third.
Among the athletes that earned gold medals for the Bac Ninh weightlifting team were Trinh Van Vinh (61kg) and Bui Ky Su (73kg) winning 6 gold medals. The remaining 2 gold medals belonged to athletes Do Tu Tung (55kg) and Nguyen Thi Thuy (71kg).
