Bac Ninh ranks third in Boxing team at 9th National Sports Congress
(BNP) – On December 20, at the Provincial Multi-Purpose Gymnasium, the final matches and awards for Boxing took place in the program of the 9th National Sports Congress in 2022.

After 8 days of competition (December 12-20), Boxing in the program of the 9th National Sports Congress ended. The Organizing Committee awarded 27 sets of medals to athletes.
In the final result, Hanoi Delegation ranked first in the whole team with 8 golds, 4 silvers, 5 bronze medals; Military Delegation ranked second with 6 golds, 3 silvers, 5 bronze medals; Bac Ninh Delegation ranked third with 3 bronzes, 2 silvers and 4 bronze medals.
Of which, 3 medals of Bac Ninh belonged to athletes: Vuong Thi Vy, 54-57kg; Nguyen Van Duong, 54-57kg; Nguyen Manh Cuong, 80 - 86kg. 2 silver medals belonged to athletes: Nguyen Van Duong, over 92kg; Nguyen Thi Hoi, 48 -50kg. Thus, Bac Ninh Boxing Team has exceeded the set medal target.
