Chairman of Provincial People's Committee inspects construction progress of key projects in Bac Ninh city, Que Vo town and Tien Du district

(BNP) - On December 15, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected and urged the construction progress of key projects in the province.

Joining the delegation were Colonel Bui Duy Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Public Security; Mr. Ngo Tan Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of a number of relevant departments and sectors.

Chairman Tuan directly inspected the construction progress of the Ring Road 4 - Hanoi Capital Region investment project (section through Bac Ninh province); the Provincial Road (PR) 287 road construction investment project from Hoan Son to the intersection of the northern approach road of Phat Tich - Dai Dong Thanh bridge; and the Bac Ninh Medical College construction investment project (phase 2).

Tuan requested the Traffic Construction Project Management Board work with Que Vo town to urgently complete the demolition of the civil works in Que O village, Chi Lang commune to hand over the construction site.

Directly inspecting the construction site of package No. 16, Ring Road 4 project, Que Vo town, Tuan requested the Traffic Construction Project Management Board to seriously learn from its experience in supervising and urging the implementation of construction on the entire route.

The Chairman urged the Department of Transport to urgently meet with specialized departments, review and urge construction teams to speed up progress and meet the required volume. Que Vo town urgently approved the compensation and resettlement plan for households in Chi Lang commune. The Traffic Construction Project Management Board directed contractors to take advantage of favorable weather and arrange more human resources and vehicles to create a bustling atmosphere at construction sites.

While inspecting the resettlement project in Yen Gia commune, the Chairman requested that Que Vo town focus on human resources and means to accelerate construction progress, check and report daily progress, and strive to hand over the site to people before the Lunar New Year 2025.

Regarding the investment project to build PR.287 road from Hoan Son to the intersection of the northern approach road of Phat Tich - Dai Dong Thanh bridge, Tien Du district, Tuan requested Tien Du district to commit to handing over the entire remaining site to the Traffic Construction Project Management Board no later than December 25 as well as continue to propagate and mobilize people to relocate graves within the project area and carry out enforcement against households with agricultural land who do not receive compensation for site clearance.

Regarding the investment project to build Bac Ninh Medical College (phase 2) in Khac Niem ward, Bac Ninh city, Chairman Tuan asked the investor to closely monitor the quality of the project, ensure technical aesthetics, and study and adjust the functions appropriately when merging Bac Ninh Medical College with Bac Ninh Teacher Training College and Bac Ninh Intermediate School of Culture, Arts and Tourism.

The Chairman assigned the Department of Education and Training to research the name of the school after the merger to create a brand to attract students as well as ensure planning and scale to upgrade to become a provincial university.
