Doi Soc Pagoda Relic, Phu Chan Ward
(BNP) - Doi Soc Pagoda (Doi Soc quarter, Phu Chan ward, Tu Son city) also known as Duong Quang pagoda, Pho Quang pagoda, Pho Quang Thien pagoda, was built a long time ago. During the reign of Le Trung Hung, it was extensively reconstructed. During the resistance war, the pagoda was completely destroyed. In 2000, the government and local began rebuilding on the old pagoda's ground.
Doi Soc Pagoda is a place to worship Buddha, Mother and Ancestor. There are still main items: Tam quan (Three gates), Tam bao (three jewels), Ancestor's house, Mother's house, guest house, Guanyin Buddha's house and auxiliary works.
The pagoda gate
The pagoda gate (Tam Quan) was built on a large scale, with a 3-storey architecture with a overlapping roof.
The Three Jewels have an architectural of Chinese “Dinh” letter including: Tien Duong and Thuong Dien.
The top of the Three Jewels is embossed with the words "Pho Quang Thien Tu" in Chinese characters.
Behind the Three Jewels is the 9-compartment Ancestor's house

Currently, the pagoda still preserves many 20th and 21st century artifacts such as Buddha statues, horizontal lacquered board, parallel sentences...

In front of the pagoda is a large lake.
In the middle of the lake is the Bodhisattva Guanyin pavilion.

Next to the pagoda is the historical and cultural relic of Doi Soc communal house.
Doi Soc Pagoda is ranked as a provincial-level historical and cultural relic according to Decision No. 2347/QD-UBND, dated December 20, 2023.
