Receiving and working with Mr. Pham The Duyet were Mr. Nguyen Huu Quat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Tu Quynh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mrs. Dao Hong Lan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mrs. Nguyen Huong Giang, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Leaders of relevant departments, sectors.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Quat reported to Mr. Pham The Duyet on remarkable achievements of Bac Ninh province after more than 20 years of re-establishment. The Standing Deputy Secretary emphasized that for a start of a purely agricultural province with socio-economic difficulties, Bac Ninh has had a spectacular breakthrough with many socio-economic development targets ranking in the top of the country. Social welfare especially cares for the poor, families in preferential treatment policies, the elderly are concerned with many policies ahead of the country. Political security, social order, and safety are maintained, creating a favorable and stable environment to attract long-term investment enterprises in the province. The work of building the Party, the Government, the Fatherland Front, and the people's organizations have been paid attention to and renewed, contributing to the building of the political system from the province to the strong root levels.

These results are thanks to the solidarity and efforts of the Party, authorities, and people in the province, attention and guidance from the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly, the Government and the Vietnamese Fatherland Front, central ministries, departments, mass organizations, including comrade Pham The Duyet, former Politburo Standing Member, former Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. In the coming time, the Deputy Secretary Nguyen Huu Quat would like to continue receiving the attention and support of Mr. Pham The Duyet for Bac Ninh province, contributing to encouraging the Party and people in the province to make efforts in turning Bac Ninh into a centrally-run city by 2022.

Expressing the happiness to Bac Ninh's remarkable achievements after over 20 years of re-establishment, becoming a model in socio-economic development and building a new countryside, Mr. Pham The Duyet, former Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, believed that with the traditions of the history, culture and the spirit of creativity, the Party and people of Bac Ninh province would continue to reap many further results in the socio-economic development, building up the Party, the government, the Fatherland Front and the strong mass organizations, maintaining political security, order and safety to soon become a centrally-run city.

Previously, Mr. Pham The Duyet offered incense at Do Temple and visited the house of Mr. Le Quang Dao (in Tu Son town); the Statue of Mr. Hoang Quoc Viet (in Bac Ninh city), and Que Vo Industrial Park.
