Impress of Bac Ninh in Tourism Festival of Ho Chi Minh city 2018
In the framework of Tourism Festival of Ho Chi Minh city (HCMC) 2018 taken place from April 12 to 15, 2018 at 23/9 park, Bac Ninh’s Tourism Promotion Center organized various attractive and impressive activities for the province’s tourism that captured attention from a great number of visitors, businesses and media, press agencies.

Making positive signals in attracting visitors and connecting tours from southern provinces to Bac Ninh province with HCMC as a key market, to Bac Ninh, Tourism Promotion Center of the province continued its third consecutive year of participating in this significant event of “Tourism Festival of Ho Chi Minh city”. During the 4-day-festival, many activities were carried out effectively in various forms such as tourism information booths to advertise tourism routes, destinations and services in Bac Ninh, and timely answer questions for travellers.
Apart from essentially advertising tourism information, the Center exhibited and introduced a wide range of unique products that demonstrate the diversity of traditional culture and cuisine of Bac Ninh – Kinh Bac land. To be more precise, visitors were satisfied their curiosity by enjoying Dong Ho folk paintings (in Thuan Thanh district), Dong Ky fine art furniture (in Tu Son town) and a lot of specialties such as Hiep Anh chrysanthemum wine (in Van An ward, Bac Ninh city), Bui Xa fermented pork; sweet potato cake and five-color cake (in Thi Cau ward, Bac Ninh city), or husband and wife cake (in Dinh Bang ward, Tu Son town).
Furthermore, in the opening ceremony and art performance themed “the colors of Vietnam”, Quan ho folksongs, a representative intangible cultural heritage of the mankind, were shown to the crowd of participants, enterprises and media agencies by Tourism Promotion Center of the province in co-ordination with male and female singers of Quan ho’s love Club (in District 10, HCMC), that left deep impression in tourism promotion.
The Tourism Festival, an annual event of HCMC’s tourism sector, facilitated and offered other provinces and cities opportunities to approach and display new tourism products to travellers inside and outside the country. There were 150 booths from 37 tourism promotion agents nationwide, consisting of hospitality enterprises, shopping centers, catering companies, tourism logistics and international and domestic aviation airline, etc.
