Inaugurate Quan Am Bo Tat floor of Linh Ung Pagoda

(BNP) – In the morning of October 20th, Phu Man hamlet (Cho township, Yen Phong district) held the inauguration ceremony of Quan Am Bo Tat floor of Linh Ung Pagoda.

Standing Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Quat cut the ribbon to Inaugurate Quan Am Bo Tat floor of Linh Ung Pagoda.

Linh Ung Pagoda was built in the Le Dynasty (1506 - 1516) with sophisticated art architecture and with 100 spaces including many items such as Tam Bao, To house, Pham Dat house, Dai Bai house, Tinh Gia house, the guest house, steeple, stone, lotus pond ... Currently, Linh Ung Pagoda still retains more than 30 ancient Buddha statues of the Le Dynasty and many precious artifacts such as the "Linh Quang tự bi” stele erected in the 9th Canh Thinh year (1827) and the stele "Hoi chủ hung công” in 1634 and 1691, the bronze bell weighed 350kg and was cast in 1801… In 1994, Linh Ung pagoda was ranked as a National Historical and Cultural Heritage by the State.

In order to meet the religious needs of people and tourists, in September 2018, officials and local people agreed to renovate and build the Quan Am Bo Tat and Tam Quan floors, garden yard and repair some other items such as Tam Bao, steeple ... from socialization funding. After nearly 2 years of construction, until now, the items are basically completed, creating a solemn, spacious and beautiful beauty of Linh Ung pagoda.
