National Scientific Conference entitled ‘Comrade Le Quang Dao with the Vietnamese revolution and his homeland Bac Ninh’

At Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics’ venue were Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man; Academy Director, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council Nguyen Xuan Thang; Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department of the Party Phan Xuan Thuy; Vice President of the Academy Le Van Loi.

Participants at Bac Ninh’s venue were Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Dao Hong Lan; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Quoc Chung;  former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen – Sy; Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huong Giang; Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of departments, branches  and sectors at districts levels and representative from Le Quang Dao's family.

Director Nguyen Xuan Thang affirmed that over 60 years of operation, dedication to the Party and the revolution, Comrade Le Quang Dao was devoted to the Party and the Fatherland, wholeheartedly serving the revolution and the people. In his working positions, he always successfully completed the tasks assigned by the Party, State and people. Thanks to great activities and contributions to the Party and people, he has been awarded many noble titles by the Party and State.

For her part, Secretary Do Hong Lan emphasized that Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac is rich in culture and revolutionary tradition. Thousands of years of national construction and defense, Bac Ninh has many loyal revolutionary soldiers, including Comrade Le Quang Dao - a key leader of the Party and State, an excellent son of Bac Ninh homeland, who become a great pride, a spiritual motivation to encourage Bac Ninh’s generations in the process of construction and development.

She hoped scientists and researchers continue to shed light on the rich life of revolutionary activities, thus honoring the great contributions of Comrade Le Quang Dao to the Vietnamese Vietnam and his hometown. These would be valuable and important documents for the units, localities and places to carry out propaganda and education for generations; arouse and uphold national pride, promote historical-cultural traditions, patriotic traditions in national construction and defense in the period of integration and development

Nearly 50 speeches at the event highlighted the life and career of comrade Le Quang Dao as well as his contributions to the country’s revolutionary cause and that of national construction.

Delivering the speech at the Conference, Standing Vice Chairman Man acknowledged and received the opinions and comments of the participants, researchers and scientists.

At Bac Ninh’s venue, Lan asked the province’s authorities all levels and people to cotinue to study and follow the example of comrade Le Quang Dao, thereby successfully fulfilling all the political tasks set out.
